Spotlight on Violet
The chakra system, aka the human energy system, has so many correlations that I’ve spent a lifetime amassing and thinking through which make sense to me. One of the ideas that makes the most sense to me is that chakras are awakened at certain times of your life.
Today, we’ll focus on the Seventh Violet Crown Chakra, the one that lives at the top of your skull.
Its basic purpose is to learn of and own your Inner Divine Nature.
Its keyword is Divinity.
Its primary verb is I Know.
It gives you the right to … Know.
Given just those minor correspondences in the list above, does it not make complete sense that the Seventh Chakra develops most between the ages of 43 and 49?
Isn’t that what anyone new to incarnation is doing during those years? Learning to navigate their own nature, and most especially how to do so from the inside-out rather than the reverse. How to identify what your inner divine nature is for you. How to identify your knowing. How to know from within just enough and not too much. . How not to know in any given circumstance. How to interpret knowing when it arises. How to communicate your knowing. How to receive knowing from others. How to … know your Divinity within and bring your knowledge into form in the world.
Of course. In fact, those seventh seven years could be considered a crash course in Your Inner Divinity 101.
How well and how safely these aspects of the self develop affect the entire experience of the rest of your life.
If you know you have religious or God or knowing issues — things you learned that you’d like to unlearn, or things you never learned that you’d like to learn — one of the easiest ways to do that is to spend some quiet time just looking deeply at the image in this post.
That saturated violet can help to fill in any gaps and remove any inaccuracies. Even better … all the while bypassing the stories you tell yourself and others about why. The color is energy, and it will change your energy.
One of the most important things about the chakras, if not the most important, is that they are meant to work together, all together. All the time.
Here is where chakras come from: When a being incarnates, there is a burst of brilliant light. I’d call that The Divine Spark. It animates all your systems. If you’ll view that burst of light, that Divine Spark, through a prism, you will see the eight major chakras.
Next time you’re struggling in a situation where your intuition or your vision feels threatened, note your behaviors, be kind to your inner 43–49-year-old, wear violet, and meditate on the image. See if that doesn’t help you toward inner peace.
Blessèd weekend.
