Sending Energetic Blessings

Morning! The world has not ended, Chicken Little. The sky has not fallen, Henny Penny. We are still on a swiftly tilting, gently swirling blue-and-green marble known as Planet Earth. We live to breathe, love, and live another day.

I didn’t look at, hear of, or seek out one bit of election news yesterday. Not one. And here I am … beaming out the colours (as it says above) of my vibrancy into cyberspace.

The results, as reported by two quite reliable sources, were … ho — yawn — hum. Business as usual. Showing the polarization of our citizenship as usual. This, Beloved, is how democracy is meant to work.

And still, here we all are. Needing to find a way to live together, to work together, to be together in caring, understanding, honest relationship.

Of course, all that starts energetically, whether we know it or not. So the advice of this psychedelic image and author is to be so vibrant that you, basically, bless everyone you meet with WHO YOU ARE. And isn’t that a lovely notion!?

Try an experiment sometime when you’re out and about. Wherever you are, in line at the grocery store, in a mall, at a movie theatre, on a park bench, begin to imagine that you’re sending a rainbow of blessing to everyone who crosses your mind or your vision.

Keep doing it. Keep doing it. If you’ll stick with it long enough, without saying a peep, people will start to notice, I guarantee it, and they’ll respond to you. Perhaps with a half-hearted wave, a do-I-know-you glance, a smile, even a firework.

When we intend good for others, good returns to us. It’s as simple as that. Just like election returns. Wait. The votes will be counted. Things will settle. Some will be glad. Some will be mad. Then we’ll do it over again.

Keep sending those well-intentioned rainbow blessings, Beloved. That’s what you can do right now to help us grow, heal, and move on. Together.
