Rainbow Footwear

What does a newly-turned sixty-five-year-old wear on her feet? [This is not a trick question.] Rainbow high-tops. What else?

I laughed out loud when I saw this image — and no, I don’t know where to get them or else I’d already own a pair!

I know I often use this space to write about how color heals us, or, rather, how our color choices heal us, and they do. But I want to invite you to go a little deeper than normal this morning.

Consider this: you have a decision to make — it doesn’t really matter what it is — a significant decision. Way more than what to have for lunch today. Let’s call it a decision that will change your life. A new path, a new road.

What do you need?

More understanding — of how whatever choice you make will affect your life. [FWIW, we try on futures like this all the time, but this time, let’s do it consciously.]

So it’s Casual Friday at work. You decide to break out your new, totally cool (because they’re so dorky) Rainbow high-tops.

Why?

Here’s a tiny taste of how deeper chakra work really works. Medical intuition comes into play here. Remember, we talking about covering/clothing for your FEET. In a medical intuitive’s world, feet represent understanding because they, uh, stand under you.

So what would Rainbow Sneaks do? You could take them as helpers along your decision-making process. The entire spectrum opens up before your understanding as you look down at your whimsical footwear. Your imaginings of possible futures are crystal clear — you have all the colors to choose from, after all.

At the end of the day, you close your eyes just before you unlace your magical footwear and imagine which path your rainbow clad feet would choose. Voila! You know what to do.

Unlace your rainbow helpers, get into something comfy, and do enjoy the end of that book you’re reading …

This is chakra work for the future at its best.
