Linked Heart-to-Heart

The image above is the logo for the Sufi Dances of Universal Peace — a worldwide movement which gathers people in gentle motion to create and amplify the idea of peace in the world. That’s not the only reason I like it.

With a few swipes of PhotoShop, these linked hearts could be the eight major chakras. And isn’t this a lovely image for what happens when “two or more are gathered?”

Isn’t this representation what we actually want? The feeling of being linked heart-to-heart with others who care about what we care about, value what we value, love what we love? Of course.

The major “conflict” in civilization is now, and has always been, how we get there — no matter where it is we want to go. If you know anything about manifestation or the Law of Attraction, then you already know that how is none of our business.

Nope. It’s true. How is none of our business. That’s because it’s a distraction from the most important thing any of us ever does … which is … figuring out what we want. That’s the truth … it’s not how that is our business, it’s deciding what that is our business.

In some written documents, this is known as Free Will. The thing is, though, that the moment we get into “figuring out the how,” we lose focus on our own task! And we constrain the Universe at the selfsame time!

So the next time you want to feel connected, linked heart-to-heart, with someone, remember this image of linked chakra hearts, Beloved. Let it mean real connection for you. As for how you get there, no worries. How is none of your business.
