From Binary to Full Spectrum

Despite the magical promise inherent in bunches of colored pencils, today I want to think, for a bit, about life in black and white. These two colors are, of course, the polar opposite ends of the spectrum — for both light and pigment.

Black is no light aka dark. White is all light aka bright. As for pigment, it’s the exact reverse. Black is all color. White is without color.

Have you ever noticed that on the days you need real clarity in, say, a meeting, you naturally gravitate to black and white for clothing? When I do that, it usually means I need clarity. Sometimes I do it without even knowing which part of my life needs the clarity!

But, as we all know, life lived strictly at the edges of any binary cuts out a lot of the magic in between. Not that the edges aren’t valid or valuable, oh no. Just that there’s a whole lot more if we’ll slow down and let it come into our awareness.

Like the spectrum of the chakras which, as I teach them, are white light — the divine spark of life itself — seen through a prism. That rainbow of personal energy is a treasure trove of information which anyone can access at any time.

One of the best things about the human energy system is that it can be instrumental in understanding and healing our past, giving an accurate reading on our present, and even help us create the future we deeply desire.

Believe it or not, all contained within each body. Available 24/7/365. At NO CHARGE.

So at some point today, imagine yourself with a pristine sheet of white paper, grab one (or ALL) of those magical colored pencils that live between your own black and white binary, and draw a picture of the future you want.

Sign it like the artist of life that you are.

Hang it where you can see it often.

Give thanks that it’s already accomplished.

Oh, and wear the colors of celebration when it appears in your physical reality.
