Fourth Green Heart Chakra
Yes, we’ll get to the Fourth Green Heart Chakra, but first, let’s talk about color.
The usual assumption in life is that when I say the word green as a descriptor, the person to whom I am speaking knows what green is. If we were both looking at the image above, we would both know.
If you think about it, though, there are an awful lot of greens, no? An artist I know told me once that there are more shades of green than of any other color!
Do I mean: grass green? Emerald green? Avocado green? Celadon green? Forest green? Stoplight green? (Or would that be, Golight?) Green going toward yellow? Or green going toward turquoise? It’s a lot to think about!
In terms of chakras, we have to think about color in terms of light, not pigment. Chakras are part of Energy Medicine; their colors have to have an energetic basis.
The green above is the one I chose after much deliberation as the best digital green for the third chakra. If I were to go for green pigment, the color would be slightly different, more toward emerald green, but that’s for another day.
No matter what shade of green you’re using, it can …
Help you feel better in both spirit and physical health.
Soothe the nerves.
Give peace & quiet to the mind, rest & recuperation to the injured body. Increase physical strength.
Act as a tonic for the spirit.
The Grace of the Fourth Green Heart Chakra is Love.
Summon green when you want to …
Soothe the spirit
Soothe the nerves
Ease loneliness
Create harmony & balance
Beware that …
Too much green can create lethargy, a sense of feeling flooded with information, or anxiety.
Green controls the free-flow of your own sense of personal love. These are relationships that are individual or small-group based, not collectives. Experiencing the results of our choices in relating are how we learn to improve our ways of connecting on all levels: body, heart, mind, and spirit.
Often people conjure green for: calming, and it definitely works, especially in situations that are escalating in ways you do not like. (*And caveat emptor: this is not medical advice — it’s energy advice.)
Green is the energetic equivalent of self-love. Use it to return to your center again and again as starting always from a clear center helps make relationships crystal clear as well.
Tomorrow, Fifth Turquoise Throat Chakra.
