Chakras & The Keys to Ascension — Putting It All Together

Leslie Temple-Thurston is the author of a book called Keys to Ascension. These next chakra teachings were inspired by her work.

Let me remind you that the most important thing about the chakras is that they are a system. They’re meant to work together as a system.

One of the major areas of differing chakra theories, once we’ve divided and conquered them, so to speak, is what happens between each chakra.

Remember the color list? Here it is again:

The Keys to Ascension are revisited here in the order of the chakra system.

Accept your death. [Rose-Red]
FIRST.
Have faith in the support of the invisible realms. [Red-Orange]
SECOND.
View the ego impersonally. [Orange-Yellow]
THIRD.
Forgive all betrayals. [Yellow-Green]
FOURTH.
Not my will but thine. [Green-Turquoise]
FIFTH.
Do not believe in loss or gain. [Turquoise-Indigo]
SIXTH.
Accept your divinity. [Indigo-Violet]
SEVENTH.
Live and let others live as divine. [Violet-Rose]
EIGHTH.

Note, please, that the Eighth Rose Thymus Chakra is not a part of Ms. Temple-Thurston’s system; it reflects my own understanding of the chakras.

As humans, we are in a constant swirl of energy in and amongst our own energy systems as well as when we interact with those of others.

Imagine, if you will, thinking about that as switching from belief to belief to belief all day long. This is actually factual. It’s what happens in our minds, not brains, day in and day out.

The notion of God Immanent — the Divine Spark that animates your very Being, the God that lives within you — lives in each one of us is a game-changer. If we all were to adopt this as policy, our whole world would be transformed from an us v. them basis to a there’s-only-us basis.

How would life be if we all treated one another as if we are all divine?
