Chakras & Homeopathy: First Red Root

There are an infinite number of ways to approach chakras, and to work with these magical, restorative components of the human energy system. Remember that chakras are the principle components of the human energy system. I see them as the Divine Life Force itself viewed as a prism.

For the next few posts, I’m going to address some of the energetic benefits of using energy medicine via homeopathy in combination with the chakras.

The Grace of the First Red Root Chakra is Life.

Honestly, I love just the notion of ‘remedies’ for life! It just makes me laugh.

I am not a homeopath, nor am I a western medical doctor. I have, however, been called The Chakra Doctah on many occasions.

Remembering that managing excesses related to Life, the life force itself, these are recommended homeopathic remedies:

Lycopodium & Silica for correcting values in the face of materialism
Sulphur for being fully present & becoming embodied
Sulphur & Oak for grounding & healing adrenal overdrive

Whilst I can’t speak to the remedies themselves, I can address the issues they address: values, materialism, full presence, embodiment, grounding, healing adrenal burnout.

Think on this, Beloved. They are all issues that affect the quality of your life. Part of growing up is figuring out your own values. If materialism is yours, great, own it. But if it isn’t, what are you choosing as a primary value in its place?

Are you fully present in your own life? I wasn’t for many, many years. Are you actually living in your body? I didn’t till I was 30! Are you grounded? Or are you pushing yourself so hard that you’re running on adrenaline, which will eventually burn out?

How are these issues affecting your life? Do you like the outcomes? If so, excellent. If not, time to make a change. Whilst you’re figuring out what you want, wear red to help you get and stay clear.

And, as is true with any kind of medical treatment, whether you believe me or not, you are your own best healer IF you’ll listen to your body. If you’ll get still and pay attention to the wisdom of your own body’s well-being and not totally abdicate your body to the ‘expertise’ of anyone else, you will find your way.
