Chakras & Exercise: The Rest of the Day Routine
Chakras are the core of the human energy system. Working with these magical, restorative components allows you to heal, grow, and learn from the inside-out. I see them as the Divine Life Force itself viewed as a prism.
For the next few posts, I’m going to address some of the energetic benefits of using energy medicine via specific daily exercises in combination with the chakras. They are based on the chakra work of Alexa Ispas.
The Graces of all eight major chakras are, in order: Life, Passion, Power, Love, Creativity, Intuition, Abundance, Compassion. Each of us has all eight as permanently available. We cannot earn these Graces — they are ours simply because we are embodied.
Learning to work consciously with whatever brings out your personal ability to access and use these Graces is a large part of our work here as embodied beings. Certainly for me, a routine that I can learn and practice daily helps with that. Here is a Rest of the Day Chakra Routine:
DURING THE DAY IN WHATEVER ORDER WORKS BEST FOR YOU
Take care of your physical needs.
Tidy up your space.
Do something that brings you pleasure.
Do the Yay vs Ugh test.
Set an achievable goal for the day.
Spend quality time with someone.
Sing.
As you practice these seven steps, you will be addressing, in order, your First Red Root, First Red Root, Second Orange Sacral, Second Orange Sacral, Third Yellow Solar, Fourth Green Heart, and Fifth Turquoise Throat chakras.
BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP
Identify negative patterns.
Give yourself a compassion session.
Look for meaning in your daily activities.
Ask for guidance through your dreams.
Do a quick full-body scan just prior to sleep.
Then choose to be Happy & express Gratitude all night.
Then wish Happiness & Gratitude for all the worlds.
As you practice these seven steps, you will be addressing, in order, your Sixth Indigo Brow, Fourth Green Heart, Seventh Violet Crown, your whole body, your whole self, the wholeness of others.
The order in which you do these seven doesn’t matter, but give it a week of practice before you make a decision.
The best part of this is that it sets you up for the day energetically. And most of us forget to do this!You will be shocked at how much better everything goes when you’re connected to, and consciously working with, your energy system.
Everything is vibration; that’s not news. What is news to a lot of folks is that we can learn to use vibration itself to make our lives better. So few of us know how to trust the inherent wisdom of our bodies. Bodies, though, are the coolest information-provider ever! Bodies never lie … because they can’t.
Try them for 21 days and see what happens. Switch the order to one that works for you.
Remember, Beloved, the most important thing about the chakras is that they form a system.
They need your attention on integration with one another. This is what will allow you to live in integrity — your own wholeness.
