You will recall that because you receive, free and clear, full Graces via each chakra, each one entitles you to give a particular Gift to others. The intro post for this one is 11.29.22; it continues to 11.30, 12.1, 12.2, 12.6, and now today.

So let us start from the 7th Violet Crown Chakra and take the major eight, two at a time, to learn about giving these gifts to others.

The structure is: Because I receive [X Grace], I give [Y Gift] …

Because I receive Abundance, I give Generosity.

The seventh chakra is connected to all things divine: your inner awareness of your spirit, your outer awareness of the spirit in others, and the spirit of the entire universe. Note that common denominator: spirit. Spirit is the plane wherein we all recognize our similarities instead of our external differences. It’s where we all want the same things in life.

That’s why Abundance, the Grace, allows us to gift others with Generosity — that sense of richness in life, luxury, opulence, wealth, plenty, bounty. Generosity is giving at its most faithful.

You know what it’s like to feel generously toward someone or something and have them shut you down as you offer it, don’t you? That would best be characterized as an inability to [become vulnerable enough] to receive. It’s that feeling that you’ve been shut down, dismissed, devalued — again.

I know you know what I mean. Think of a person who rejected as not valuable something you valued and wanted to give them — the best pair of socks ever or a book that touched you. The point is that you can give a sense of Generosity to others by practicing and getting good at receiving. In fact, the cost of giving is receiving. Think on that!

For the 8th Rose Thymus Chakra: Because I receive Intuition, I give Guidance.

The eighth chakra is connected to all things immunity, that sense of cosmic, existential safety which knows without equivocation that you will handle whatever comes into your life. Might it hurt? Sure, but you can work with it. Whilst the thymus leads physical immunity. This chakra, most especially emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, takes care of the “unforgivable” experiences in your life, the ones your personal forgiveness and love can’t manage.

That’s why Compassion, the Grace, allows us to gift others with Kindness — that sense of deep spiritual connection that recognizes, for better or worse, that our co-incarnates are doing the best they can with what they have. If they could do better, they would do better.

You know what it’s like to feel so deeply connected on a species level that receiving any sort of cruelty — the ultimate aim of unkindness — is tantamount to betrayal. That’s why it’s really important to let your generosity of spirit begin with yourself. Kindness to you, first and foremost. The point here is that kindness starting at home means it’s easier to give it to the rest of the world.

Tomorrow we’ll start through the chakra system again — through the lens of the realms in which each inheres.
