Chakra Integration: Spirit

Integrating chakra work, which is really energy work, into your everyday life is simple.

There are eight major chakras that form the basis of the human energy system. Seven of them sit as 3D spheres in front of the spine and trace the colors of the rainbow from Red to Violet. The 8th chakra is Rose and is located in front of the thymus gland outside the body.

Below is the chart/cheat sheet I created as a reminder of how to work with each chakra. Its components are listed below.

If you’ve followed my work in these pages, you know that the most important point about the chakra system is that it’s a system. The eight major chakras are all meant to speak to one another in a never-ending infinity of energetic exchange.

After you know the body placements, their colors, and their numbers, you have three of the four major parts that make up each human being: Body, Heart, and Mind.

Learn the verticals till you can recite them, and sense them in your own energy.

For spirit, I AM Statements: I AM … thriving, passionate, powerful, loving, creative, intuitive, abundant, and compassionate.

Stay with these eight words until you can name them effortlessly, get in touch with the physical sensation, visualize each color, rattle off the number, and then add the I AM Statements. Here it’s putting all four together that matters.

Now I know that sounds like yet another thing to add to your already-too-long to-do list. It isn’t. Write the words on an index card, then recite them in line at the grocery store, at a traffic light, while stirring red sauce for pasta.

You’re not looking for chakra work to take over your life. You’re looking for it to undergird your life, like a program that’s always running in the background. Which is exactly what it’s already doing.

Working at the level of energy is so much more efficient than working from outside in. When you source the energetic cause behind whatever is showing up in your life, and change that, the outer form will change. No exceptions.
