Chakra Diagnosis: 6th

For several years, I was the head of Spiritual & Energy Medicine at a wholistic medical center in Boston. There, I found that I used the chakras for diagnostic purposes.

Before we go there, though, let’s talk for a moment about diagnoses. For a lot of us, a diagnosis is a relief. We know ‘what’s wrong,’ ergo we know what’s not wrong.

That’s good, as far as it goes.

But … we have a tendency to get stuck on our diagnoses.

So the best thing to remember about a diagnosis is this:

A DIAGNOSIS IS NOT A PROGNOSIS.

You’ve heard the expression ‘name it and claim it.’ That’s what happens when we make a diagnosis a prognosis.

For all the many, many patients I saw in those years, the first thing I told them all was to go past any diagnoses.

Given that, I was able to help a lot of my patients do just that by guiding them to pay attention to their heart, mind, and spirit as well as their bodies.

One way to do that is to clock the polarities inherent in each chakra. Remember, each of us is a fourfold being: body, heart, mind, and spirit — and all of you is involved in all of your life.

So if you’re manifesting sixth Indigo Brow Chakra symptoms, here are the polarities you might be meeting in your daily round. Note each pair, and think about it.

Body: autonomy/manipulation

Heart: choice/tyranny

Mind: collaboration/arrogance

Spirit: intuition/logic

One of the easiest ways I know of shaking up the experience of polarization within is to switch out those / for &. That’s right. Hence,

Body: autonomy & manipulation

Heart: choice & tyranny

Mind: collaboration & arrogance

Spirit: intuition & logic

Spend a few days just reciting the pairs in your own mind. Soon enough, you’ll be guided from within as to what path will lead to the best outcome for whatever your diagnosis.

I saw this work with person after person, week in and week out, for years, so I know it works.
