Chakra 8th: For / Why

You will recall … we are working toward creating a single sentence that embodies each chakra’s essence. They all begin: Because I receive [Grace,] I give [Gift] (see the past several posts).

The next piece of the equation answers two questions simultaneously. Namely, Where and Why. Efficient, isn’t it?

Where is all about the realm in which most of the effects of each chakra occurs. The realm, or area of your life, is also the why: because each realm holds a desirable goal for everyone.

So let us continue with the 7th Violet Crown Chakra and build out our single sentence.

Because I receive Abundance, I give Generosity for Growth …

Growth comes from Latin roots related to green and grass. It means that we’re not only talking about Abundance, but about Abundance in manifest reality. Stop to think about it for a minute, Growth really is broad, or it ought to be. Confining it to a single mission in life seems a little short-sighted. Consider that you are a fourfold being: Body, Heart, Mind, Spirit.

What is, then … Body Growth, Heart Growth, Mind Growth, Spirit Growth? How does each manifest in your life?

Body Growth can certainly mean a body that isn’t suffering a malfunction in any area, but it can also mean a body more and more included by you, that body’s tenant, as vital, important, necessary, and full of an abundance of information if you’ll heed it. Understanding that the body you have is the only one you’ll have this time can (and must, dare I say?) inspire its tenant to include the body’s vast wealth as part of knowing oneself. Both ways are available to you. It’s a choice.

Heart Growth can certainly mean a heart frozen by its owner usually because of an unwillingness to risk similar pain from the past, but it can also mean a heart that is dedicated to learning more and ore about love in all its (sometimes) distressing disguises, to quote Saint Mother Teresa. Love is a big subject, chock full of magic, wisdom, and plenty, and worth a lifetime of study.

Mind Growth can certainly mean a mind that isn’t interested in learning anything new, but it can also mean a mind that has made the determination that its very self is endlessly expansive, and opts to live life as a learning project. Believe me, there’s a cornucopia of learning available! Again, it’s all choices.

Spirit Growth can certainly mean a core that rejects all things Divine as part of “religion,” but it can also mean a core essence that looks past the limited containers of what we know as religion, and instead is focused on the Cosmic Divine as expressed in one’s own individual incarnation. Look up, Beloved, raise your eyes to the horizon — that’s where the Big Cosmic is. Ask for inspiration and you will receive it.

See? Much more complicated than you originally thought. And we haven’t even touched the issue of money! This is well worth thinking about, Beloved. We all do want access to our Growth on one level or another, as in a way of life in which we are able to use our God-given perception to see plenty, opulence, luxury, bounty, more-than-enough all around us. Go ahead, want it because it makes life richer which is a good enough reason.

Tomorrow, we’ll explore the 8th Rose Thymus Chakra.
