Chakra 7: For / Why

You will recall … we are working toward creating a single sentence that embodies each chakra’s essence. They all begin: Because I receive [Grace,] I give [Gift] (see the past several posts).

The next piece of the equation answers two questions simultaneously. Namely, Where and Why. Efficient, isn’t it?

Where is all about the realm in which most of the effects of each chakra occurs. The realm, or area of your life, is also the why: because each realm holds a desirable goal for everyone.

So let us continue with the 6th Indigo Brow Chakra and build out our single sentence.

Because I receive Intuition, I give Guidance for Purpose …

Purpose comes from Latin roots meaning to set forth based on the word propose. It means that we’re not only talking about Intuition, but about Intuition acted upon enough to take form. Stop to think about it for a minute, Purpose really is broad, or it ought to be. Confining it to a single mission in life seems a little short-sighted. Consider that you are a fourfold being: Body, Heart, Mind, Spirit.

What is, then … Body Purpose, Heart Purpose, Mind Purpose, Spirit Purpose? How does each manifest in your life?

Body Purpose can certainly mean a body that isn’t a consideration in one’s life choices, but it can also mean a body understood as the vehicle or envelope for the soul (yours) that inhabits it. Understanding that the body you have is the only one you’ll have this time naturally inspires its care-taking. Both ways are available to you. It’s a choice.

Heart Purpose can certainly mean a heart for whom disappointment is the norm, but it can also mean a heart that is dedicated to something bigger than itself, something that inspires, requires, and acquires meaningful action toward a difference that very heart wants to make.

Mind Purpose can certainly mean a mind that isn’t ordered or settled, but it can also mean a mind that has made the time to get clear from the inside-out on how it can serve your soul by making a difference in whatever arena you choose. Again, it’s all choices.

Spirit Purpose can certainly mean a core that isn’t even aware that you might have a cosmic reason for being here, but it can also mean a core essence that is certain of its own rightful place on the planet, doing what it is that you purposefully decided you came here to do.

See? Much more complicated than you originally thought. And we haven’t even touched the cosmic mission! This is well worth thinking about, Beloved. We all do want access to our Purpose on one level or another, as in a way of life in which we are able to use our God-given talents to create whatever magic we can dream up, and we want it because it makes life richer which is a good enough reason.

Tomorrow, we’ll explore the 7th Violet Crown Chakra.
