Big, Permanent Change Through the Chakras

Today is Epiphany. The OED defines the noun as a sudden and great revelation or realization. That’s what I hope these simple chakra practices have brought to your New Year’s Resolutions.

Remember, we’re committed to making big, permanent changes, if you will, meta-change. My definition of what qualifies as meta-change is a change so profound that its alteration makes every single outward indicator different. Usually, it only takes one.

Read the previous posts from this week to catch up, and we are using the 7th Violet Chakra Grace of Abundance as our example for big, permanent change.

You can’t make big change by shifting outer things, Beloved. Not possible. What makes for big change is shifting inner things.

Essentially, thinking differently which will make you feel differently which will make you act differently. Voila! Change.

So aside from looking for 7s, wearing violet, becoming aware of the crown of your head, and asking Wise Whys … what other simple practices can you implement?

I created a pair of practices for each chakra called the less/MORES. Two behaviors. One to stop doing, the other to do in place of what you’ve stopped doing.

Action Step #5 hoard less.

Action Step #6 SHARE MORE.

Now, I know, I know, hoarding has dreadful connotations, but step back from those for a minute please. In this case, I simply mean consider making the practice of sharing more a natural default rather than holding back.

Holding back anything: a smile, breath, encouragement, even kind criticism, is the fastest way to stop the flow of Abundance that I know.

So the practice is: Share every time you can.

And stretch a little as you do. Ultimately, these two behaviors boil down the actions associated with the real point of Abundance in a life which is circulation.

Abundance of all kinds increases when you share it. Try it, and see if I’m not right.

Happy New Year!

Oh, and P.S. If you’re having trouble with this, you can always arrange a session with me through the Contact Form at iampersand.org.
