As The World Turns: Turquoise, Again
The chakra system, aka the human energy system, has so many correlations that I’ve spent a lifetime amassing and thinking through which make sense to me. One of the ideas that makes the most sense to me is that chakras are awakened at certain times of your life.
Today, we’ll focus on the Fifth Turquoise Throat Chakra, the one that lives near your thyroid.
Its basic purpose is to learn Creative Communication.
Its keyword is Expression.
Its primary verb is I Speak.
It gives you the right to … Speak Truth and to Hear Truth.
Given just those minor correspondences in the list above, does it not make complete sense that the Third Chakra develops most between the ages of 29 and 35? It does.
And we revisit that Fifth Turquoise Throat Chakra between the ages of 85–91!
For the 29–35 age group, that’s what anyone new to incarnation is doing during those years? Learning to navigate their own creative impulses, and most especially how to express them. How to identify what creativity is for you. How to communicate just enough and not too much. . How not to communicate in any given circumstance. How to interpret creativity when it arises. How to communicate your creative passions. How to receive communication and creativity from others. How to … create and communicate in the world. In fact, those fifth seven years could be considered a crash course in Creative Communication 101.
But what about the Fifth Chakra Return, if you will? What are we revisiting then? Think, Beloved. By the time of this recycle, aren’t you examining the basic conclusions you made about communication and creative expression at that very young age? Aren’t you looking back and looking forward, wondering what Communicating means to you at this point?
How well and how safely these aspects of the self develop affect the entire experience of the rest of your life whether you’re 28–35 or 85–91.
If you know you have creativity or communication issues — things you learned that you’d like to unlearn, or things you never learned that you’d like to learn — one of the easiest ways to do that is to spend some quiet time just looking deeply at the image in this post.
That saturated turquoise can help to fill in any gaps and remove any inaccuracies. Even better … all the while bypassing the stories you tell yourself and others about why. The color is energy, and it will change your energy.
One of the most important things about the chakras, if not the most important, is that they are meant to work together, all together. All the time.
Here is where chakras come from: When a being incarnates, there is a burst of brilliant light. I’d call that The Divine Spark. It animates all your systems. If you’ll view that burst of light, that Divine Spark, through a prism, you will see the eight major chakras.
Next time you’re struggling in a situation where your heart feels threatened, note your behaviors, be kind to your inner 85–91-year-old, wear turquoise, and meditate on the image. See if that doesn’t help you toward inner peace.
