As The World Turns: Indigo, Again
The chakra system, aka the human energy system, has so many correlations that I’ve spent a lifetime amassing and thinking through which make sense to me. One of the ideas that makes the most sense to me is that chakras are awakened at certain times of your life.
Today, we’ll focus on the Sixth Indigo Brow Chakra, the one that lives a little above and between your eyes.
Its basic purpose is to learn Intuitive Vision.
Its keyword is Vision.
Its primary verb is I See.
It gives you the right to … See.
Given just those minor correspondences in the list above, does it not make complete sense that the Third Chakra develops most between the ages of 36 and 42?
And we revisit that Sixth Indigo Brow Chakra between the ages of 92–98!
For the 36–42 age group, that’s what anyone new to incarnation is doing during those years? Learning to navigate their own visionary abilities, and most especially how to do so from the inside-out rather than the reverse. How to identify what intuition is for you. How to identify your vision. How to listen within just enough and not too much. . How not to envision in any given circumstance. How to interpret intuition when it arises. How to communicate your intuition and your visions. How to receive intuition and vision from others. How to … listen within and bring your vision into form in the world. In fact, those sixth seven years could be considered a crash course in Intuitive Vision 101.
But what about the Sixth Chakra Return, if you will? What are we revisiting then? Think, Beloved. By the time of this recycle, aren’t you examining the basic conclusions you made about Intuitive Vision at that age? Aren’t you looking back and looking forward, wondering what Intuitive Vision means to you at this point?
How well and how safely these aspects of the self develop affect the entire experience of the rest of your life whether you’re 36–42 or 92–98.
If you know you have intuition or vision issues — things you learned that you’d like to unlearn, or things you never learned that you’d like to learn — one of the easiest ways to do that is to spend some quiet time just looking deeply at the image in this post.
That saturated indigo can help to fill in any gaps and remove any inaccuracies. Even better … all the while bypassing the stories you tell yourself and others about why. The color is energy, and it will change your energy.
One of the most important things about the chakras, if not the most important, is that they are meant to work together, all together. All the time.
Here is where chakras come from: When a being incarnates, there is a burst of brilliant light. I’d call that The Divine Spark. It animates all your systems. If you’ll view that burst of light, that Divine Spark, through a prism, you will see the eight major chakras.
Next time you’re struggling in a situation where your intuition or your vision feels threatened, note your behaviors, be kind to your inner 36–42-year-old, wear indigo, and meditate on the image. See if that doesn’t help you toward inner peace.
